Education in Haiti and the AVJ school. This video is a translated version of two news stories aired in September 2006 on Telesur, a 24-hour news network in Spanish based in Latin America. Much has changed at the AVJ school since then! Thanks to donations, the school now has books, notebooks and pens, the teachers receive an occasional stipend and the students enjoy a full meal and clean drinking water everyday. What has not changed is the dedication of the teachers and enthusiasm of the students.
