SODA welcomes the help of volunteers willing to travel to Haiti or contribute from their own country! Volunteering possibilities depend on SODA’s needs and the individual’s capabilities, interests and time constraints.
SODA has already received the contributions of volunteers in the United States who have helped fundraise, given legal advice and designed this website. Others have come to Haiti to work side-by-side with SODA’s members in the slums of Port-au-Prince. These include teachers, doctors, journalists and photographers. But you don’t need to be a professional to contribute – there is much work to be done and almost always a way to be of help.
